Helping Hands Australia was created to support local people who may be struggling with the out of pocket costs of accessing specialist care.
Founded by local GP and Narrabri Shire Councillor Dr Navin Erathnage, the charity is built on the belief that financial barriers should not stand in the way of important medical care.

Financial assistance is available to eligible applicants who live within the Narrabri Shire.

Helping Hands Australia was founded by Dr Navin Erathnage, local GP, Narrabri Shire Councillor , founder and director. Passionate about improving access to specialist care for rural communities. Dr Navin established the charity as a practical way to support local people pacing specialist out-of-pocket costs.

Financial assistance is subject to eligibility criteria, individual assessment and available funding. Assistance caps may apply. Submission of an enquiry or application does not guarantee approval or payment. Helping Hands Australia may request further information or supporting documentation where needed.
